Glika Nera Beach
Especially for fans of the stone beach, we want to introduce you to Glyka Nera on the island of Crete.
This unimaginably beautiful beach with a rich blue color of the purest seawater will touch the soul of every visitor.
In 2003, it entered the top 20 as one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. It is located South of the city of Chania, 75 kilometers and 67 from Rethymno. The only way to get to the beach quickly and safely is by water. But for fans of extreme sports, you can use a rented car and drive a little, and then leave the car along the road and go down on foot along the mountain path.
There is a small tavern on the beach. Here you can enjoy national cuisine and soft drinks in very hot weather. Glyka Nera is also equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers. And the best part is that you do not have to carry liters of water with you since it is suitable for drinking in springs.
The sea is quite cool because of the natural springs that flow into it. There are no big waves. You can also find a shadow under one of the tamarisks.
There is a fairly long beach strip and therefore the Eastern part is occupied by nudists. Thanks to this, no one oppresses or embarrasses anyone.
